Our licensed preschool program on Monroe St. and at Hilldale is for kiddos ages 2-5 years old. Open year round Monday-Fridays, half and full day options available.

Our Language enrichment programs is for kiddos ages 2-8 years old. Learn, play, create, and explore the world using all their senses.

Our after school program is for kiddos ages 4-8 years old. This program runs Monday to Friday from September to June.

Today was all about love and friendship at Creando! ❤️We had a blast with a special spa day🧖🏼‍♀️, making waffles, decorating cakes, 🎂sharing Valentine’s, exploring numbers and letters with heart-shaped activities, dancing, and creating beautiful Valentine’s Day cards! 💌It brings us so much joy as to create these special memories with our little explorers! 💕

Our little chefs explored life above the snow, discovering animals, trees, rocks, and nature. We also practiced our fine motor skills with tracing, number and shape recognition. At Creando we LOVE - AMAMOS process art as it fits in with how children learn because it allows them room to be themselves, make their own decisions and just create! So, today our time was focused only on the task of creating and exploring all about el INVIERNO. Our kiddos decided on creating some PINGÜINOS while using some of the new vocabularies they have been learning this week (BUFANDA, GORROS, GUANTES, OREJERAS, NIEVE, FRIO, ETC) by using an assortment of fun and messy materials.

We learned all about día de acción de gracias (thanksgiving), and what it means to be thankful ❤️. Our circle time started with us each sharing something that we are thankful for and putting them on hojas 🍂 for un árbol 🌳 en la pizarra. Many of our kiddos were grateful for their padres ❤️, hermanos y hermanas, or mascotas 🐕🐈. After that, we practiced our fine motor skills and números by rolling un dado 🎲 and putting that many beads on una pluma 🪶 de un pavo 🦃. Next, we used our gross motor skills for a scavenger hunt to find different thanksgiving items around the classroom. We had to hop and place them en un pavo 🦃. After that, we decorated un pavo using esponjas 🧽 y pintura 🎨.

Our peques learned that Wisconsin is the state with the most cranberry bogs, which is donde crecen (where they grow). When they are harvested, farmers flood the bogs with water and knock the cranberries off of the vine so they float to the top of the agua! To put into practice all the information learned, our kiddos did lots of pretend play, sensory and STEM activities, process art and cooking activities while learning about las vocales, figuras geométricas ( 2D vs. 3D) , números and patrones!

For our gross motor activity, we did a scavenger hunt for numeros y figuras geometrical in order to build our city by putting los numeros in order and we finished our exploration by making una ciudad craft!

Today, our little language explorers reviewed everything that we learned this month, trees, the change of season, and the cooler temperatures. We discussed how leaves fall and how certain animals hibernate as winter approaches. For gross motor skills, we did a fun cone activity, and later, we explored temperature differences with a water balloon experiment using hot and cold water. To wrap up, we said goodbye by creating nature wands, using sticks and leaves from outside, bringing a little bit of nature into our farewell.

We ended our day exploring las hojas and their colors with an experiment and lastly just for fun we made a wolf from papel periódico.

We explored what they eat, how they live, and how they use their tiny hands every day👋 and why they are nocturnal🌙 we had some fun activities to strengthen our fine motor skills. We built number towers and recognized numbers on the Racoon’s tail, pretended we had raccoon claws to flip cards and complete number sequences. We also sharpened our listening skills by identifying different parts of our bodies and recognizing the foods raccoons love to eat 🍌🍳🥦🍖 and made Racoon masks!
